The wallpaper didn’t change overnight.
EaselWall rotates at the time you set in Settings › Schedule. If your Mac was asleep across that moment, the launchd agent will catch up on the next wake. If it still didn’t rotate, click the menu bar icon and choose Next Painting.
Can I add my own paintings?
Not in v1. The catalogue is curated from public-domain museum collections (Art Institute of Chicago, The Met, Rijksmuseum). Custom collections are on the roadmap.
How do I get the Rijksmuseum collection?
Request a free API key from data.rijksmuseum.nl, then paste it into Settings › Gallery › Additional Collections.
Where are the wallpaper images stored?
In your app sandbox container, under ~/Library/Containers/com.ntindle.EaselWall. Bundled paintings ship with the app; downloaded ones are cached there until rotated.
How do I uninstall?
Quit EaselWall from its menu bar, drag the app to the Trash, and (optional) remove preferences with defaults delete com.ntindle.EaselWall.
